Yesterday, I found myself, along with much of the crew, very excited as we found our first planet. Since the launch of the USS Blackbird three months ago, Starfleet has had us doing routine patrols of the Klingon-Federation neutral zone. For the first time since, we've been ordered to explore a safe route to the border of the Delta Quadrant. We were out here for nearly a month when we altered course for an uncharted planet, initial scans showed a single Class M planet, in orbit around a White Dwarf Star.
